Description on the individual ideation of link

The idea of the site is designed to present the destination of the Jonker Street, Malacca. I would use link to guide the tourist actual way from different places to Jonker Street because link is easy located and access.

Objective of the button

I believe that most of the people know Jonker Street in Malacca because this is one of the famous places that you should go and have a look. It’s definitely a trouble for you if you don’t know the way to there. Many of the tourists from different places wish to come to this place but they don’t know the actual way to go and most probably will lost their way. The objective of my button is as a guideline to lead the people from different places to reach Jonker Street easily and safely.

Flowchart of individual link

The top one will be map of the jonker street and then comes down to three buttons which is the link to guide people how to reach jonker street. Adobe Photoshop will be use to edit the map that will place in the

website, and I plan to put some animation to attract the viewer and easy for them to understand it.

This is what i will do in my dreamweaver part. I will briefly explain about the map and the direction from

different places to Jonker Street.

* I capture all the maps from the net by using phone because i not able to print screen so the size of the image will be a little bit small than the actual size of it. I didn't edit much on the images. I just use magnetic lasso tool to crop the image.

Tool used:

ü Use magnetic lasso tool to crop the background image.

Tool used: rectangle tool

ü 1^st, drag a rectangle shape from left to right of the image.

ü The height of the shape is half of the whole image and the width is exactly the whole image.

ü At the layer panel, choose “add a layer style” (fx) then click at gradient overlay.

ü Change the gradient color from black to blue.

ü click the reverse button to display the color from blue to white.

Tool used: pen tool

ü Use the pen tool to draw the shape of sky.

ü The concept of this image is to create a lighting effect which shows the road is leading to a brighter future.

ü Choose the gradient color to a lighter blue, same step as above.

Tool used:

ü Use magnetic lasso tool to crop the image of building.

ü Put the building image in the center of the whole background

ü Click on select-à deselect

ü Use eraser tool to blur the surround of the building image to make it more match with the background image.

ü Crop the shape of the cloud by using magic wand tool.

ü Put the cloud at any place of the sky.

ü Editàcopyàpaste ( to copy the cloud)

ü edità free transformàright click at an empty spaceàflip horizontal ( to reverse the cloud)

ü EditàFree transform: adjust the size of the cloud to become bigger or smaller.

ü Drop shadow

ü Crop the image of “Faculty Of Management” using the magnetic lasso tool.

ü Select the image

ü Edità transformà distort

ü Adjust the free transform points to make the image become 3D effect.

ü Use magic wand tool to select the image of the two businessmen

ü The concept of putting the businessmen image is to show this wallpaper is about the business sector.

ü Place the image selected in the middle of the road

ü At the layer panel, choose “add a layer style”(fx) then click at drop shadow.

ü Use rectangle tool to draw a rectangle shape at the upper part as the background of text.

ü Opacity: 50%

ü choose horizontal type tool and click on an empty space to type the title

ü Choose the font and font size of the title.

ü Font : Showcard Gothic

Word effect:

ü Drop shadow( to add shadow for the text)

ü Color overlay ( choose the color of the text to become yellow)

ü Stroke( add a white color line around of the text)

ü Use pen tool to draw the shape of the text background

ü choose horizontal type tool and type the title inside the shape

ü Click at “create warped text”à style (Arc) àBend (22%)

ü Crop the MMU logo using magnetic lasso tool.

ü Put the MMU logo at the lower part of the image.

ü Edità free transform ( adjust the size of the MMU logo to become smaller)
